Studies the heat release characteristics of floor in the intermittent period by means of theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and verification by field measurement, and analyses the influences of water temperature in coil, thickness of filling layer and coil spacing on heat release characteristics. The results show that during the intermittent operation, the two-dimensional heat transfer of floor can be approximately considered as one-dimensional vertical heat transfer process after about two hours; the heat release process can be approximately considered as ended after twenty hours; the water temperature in coil and coil spacing have less effects on heat release characteristics, and the thickness of filling layer has larger impact; the average surface heat flow density obtained from the total floor heat release is 20 to 35 W/m2; and the error between the numerical calculation result and the test result is no greater than 7%.
